While we take the important work that we do seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We enjoy the chance to interact with our community any chance we get, most recently on our biannual Peanut Day fundraising event, where we accept donations for candy or bags of peanuts. We are blessed to have a strong relationship with Hardings Marketplace on Drake Road where we are given space several times a year for this event, to rings bells for the Salvation Army, and collect food for Loaves and Fishes. The money we raise is donated to:
Boys & Girls Club, Cheff Center, Drop In Child Care, Girl Scouts, Gryphon Place, Lending Hands, Loaves & Fishes, Ministry with Community, Paws with a Cause, and others.
Our memebers also donate their time to Lending Hands, Loaves and Fishes, Meals on Wheels, and The yearly Connections event at the fairgrounds.

These handcrafted stunning, fresh evergreen wreaths and centerpieces make memorable holiday gifts. 15% of all sales is returned to the project account of the Westside’s club for its many projects – Loaves and Fishes, Lending Hands, YWCA domestic assault, Kiwanis Children’s Fun…
